How to change your profile image

Loop allows you to set your own profile image so that students can tie a “face” to messages and questions received from your account

  1. In Home, click on the down arrow in the top right of the navigation next to your name profile
  2. Click “Profile” from the drop down menu
  3. Click the profile image
  4. Simply select the image of your choice from your computer
How to change your display name

Setting your display name allows your students to receive questions from a name of your choice, rather than your official account registration e.g. “Mr Smithers”

  1. In Home, click on the down arrow in the top right of the navigation next to your name profile
  2. Click on the text field in “Display name” and enter as desired
How to manage student direct message anonymity settings

Your students can send you direct messages via their Inbox. You can choose to allow your students to set whether they wish to be identified or anonymous. (This setting does not affect anonymous responses to questions you set)

  1. In Home, click on the down arrow in the top right of the navigation next to your name profile
  2. Under “Student Messaging” toggle off “Students can send anonymous direct messages” 
  3. Your students will now be unable to send direct anonymous messages to your inbox
How to show archived/closed groups

When groups are closed they will be removed from your Loop home. These groups have not been deleted and can be viewed on your dashboard with the below steps:

  1. In Home, click on the down arrow in the top right of the navigation next to your name profile
  2. Under “Group configuration” toggle on “Show closed groups on your homepage”
